The World in a cage

These two pictures stir me a lot!
What is common in both?
The first picture shows a bird in captivity.
Picture two throws light on the plight of a pre-schooler.

I DO NOT FIND A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE EYES OF BOTH THE VICTIMS (!)
With an awe of expectation every moment to dart out of captivity, to experience the cool of soaring high into its infinite domain is what the bird’s eyes reveal.
With an innocent helplessness and desperation to leave the temporary prison and snug into its mother’s lap is what the child’s eyes express!
Diving deep, this is what I feel….
Both show man’s selfishness, man’s greed to possess the unnecessary and his evil desire to thrust others into irrelevant territory.
Do we really need to hold a parrot in a 5”X 5” cage and admire its plumage? Are they not having their space and liberty to fly wherever they please?
What about the child? It well defines the probable condition of his final years in school. Parents just dump the cute angels into prisons baptised as “SCHOOLS” – of course with multi-coloured dreams that the so called schools will PRODUCE (!) an engineer or a doctor in their child! They do produce – engineers and doctors, RARELY human beings!
